I enjoy listening to SiriusXM's Josh Groban station when I am at my parents' house (this one is not available in the car). There are other singers who also play on it, some of them really good like The Canadian Tenors and Il Divo. But a singer I don't like is Michael Buble, five of his songs already have started yesterday and today. I instantly downvote them and something better replaces it. Another song on Josh's station was a weird pairing of a duet between Ed Sheeran and legend Andrea Bocelli.

And the station attempted to play a SIXTH song with Michael Buble. I downvoted it of course, the replacement is a singer with a very pretty voice Hayley Westenra. If all her songs are this good, I might buy a CD of hers some time.

I have never figured out how Michael Buble got so popular in the first place and how he continues to be more popular. I think Michael wants to become like Tony Bennett and he hopes to also become like Harry Connick Jr. I remember my mother buying Michael Buble's debut album at a Goodwill and when we listened to it I couldn't figure out how he is a top artist in music. But if you look at his newer albums you can see he's copying Harry Connick Jr. Because just like Harry Connick Jr. did in his earlier albums Michael Buble started singing standards like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett had. But it seems that every time Michael Buble releases new albums he seems to have TV specials galore and I think this alone is where Michael Buble makes a whole lot of money. Because it seems for every new album a TV special follows for Michael Buble. Like when he released his Christmas albums NBC did a Michael Buble holiday special and when his second Christmas album debuted NBC did another Michael Buble holiday special and it seems that Michael wants to be the top selling artist of vocal pop next to Barbra Streisand and he will continue to be a rising star for years to come
