Will there ever be a top level professional team to call Hawaii home?
Will there ever be an MLB, NFL, or NBA team based in Honolulu?
Haven't looked whether there are any pro soccer teams there.
Why hasn't that happened already?

Because Hawaii is 6 hours behind the east coast. Playing on the west coast is rough for some teams that don't go there very often and vice versa, but imagine having the Yankees playing in Hawaii. If they played a night game, people in New York would have to stay up until 1 am just to see their team live.
