I've been catching several episodes this weekend . Really good, funny show ! I remember as a really young girl seeing this in reruns, but it was called" Make room for Daddy" . Why and when did it change to" The Danny Thomas show" ?

This is gonna be confusing, but here goes: The 1st three seasons it was called MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY, then seasons 4-11 called DANNY THOMAS SHOW. When the show started daytime reruns on NBC it was called MRFD and included seasons 1-9. When it began in 1967 in syndication, it was still called MRFD and aired seasons 5-9. COZI-TV aired seasons 4-11(seasons 10/11 weren't shown since 1965!) Finally, CATCHY COMEDY NETWORK started airing the show under title DANNY THOMAS SHOW. Technically, all but the 1st three seasons were titled DANNY THOMAS SHOW. I hope I answered your question?! I'm a huge fan of this show!

Seasons 1-3 might not be possible but would like to see seasons 4-11 be released on DVD with every episode complete/uncut as can currently be seen on the Tubi website.
