Hey, Y'all!

I've tried all over to find an answer to this question. I am re-watching the Love Boat, and have just gotten to the part where Vicki stays on the ship full time.

I have heard the Captain tell her to do her homework, but have never heard how she actually goes to school. Is she "home schooled" on the ship? Have not heard anything about her going to class at any time. Does a teacher send her homework?

She is only 11 at the beginning. I would just love to know. Maybe I have missed something.

OK. I have finally found out about Vicki's education aboard ship. Captain Stubing, in an almost throwaway line, said to someone that there is a member of the crew, Officer Dooley, who has a Master's in Education. He takes care of Vicki's schooling. I'm not sure that they ever talk about him after that, or if we ever see him after this episode. I bet folks were wondering about Vicki, and they threw in this line to tell everyone that Vicki is not playing hookey forever!
