Crazy. I was six, in first grade. I don't remember watching Cheers till maybe the second year. But still had to say happy anniversary to one of the greats.
And a big thanks to Brandon (RIP) for leaving it on long enough to find an audience and give us 11 great years.
Always love the old story of how NBC had "nothing else to put on the air". Thank God for that, huh!

I was nine when it aired. I still remember the first Cheers promo advertising the show, Two hands holding mugs of beer. The two hands go to toast one another and the mugs shatter.

yea wasnt born yet.. 1985 was my Year lol but i remember watching it around the early 90's and when it ended!

My year was '85 too, and I remember my parents always watching it...I always knew it was on b/c of the unforgettable theme song :)

It's funny for me because, I never did watch Cheers all that much when it was running.
I just had the chance to see a few re-runs and found the show to be very well done.
I was two years old when the show started.
