You know, those segments that make you roll your eyes.

Fertility statues, anyone?

What are your favorite cringe segments?

Aphrodisiacs, hands down.

Want to hear Robert Stack talk about sex in that wonderful voice of his? Want to hear an interviewee talk about how aphrodisiacs made his evening steamy? This segment has you covered.

The late network era’s celebrity/movie tie-in segments (Reggie White, Margaux Hemingway, Katherine Korzilius, MIB) and segments on news topics that were being extensively covered elsewhere (OJ, JonBenét) were pretty bad. It was obvious that the show was both struggling to fill its episode order and trying to pump up the ratings.

I think the Margaux Hemingway and Katherine Korzilius cases were done to specification for the time period. The latter is one of the more memorable from the show's tenth season.

I also thought Therapeutic Touch was a bunch on hogwash, too.

The only reason they even covered the Korzilius non-Mystery was the chance to get Bon Jovi in an interview chair.

The "real life" Dr Doolittle segment.

The one that talked to horses or the one that got attacked by the big cat?

It will always be the magic rock segment for me.

Honorable mention: lady sweating foil and the man who could make it rain

Which ever one talked to animals and told an owner their cat wanted to wear "that pink thing" more often.

UM never jumped the shark. Perhaps some ppl do not know what "jumping the shark" means, but ti certainly did not happen to Unsolved Mysteries.

That's a bit asinine. Jon was interviewed because he knew the family personally. It would have come out eventually that Paul was Jon's manager, plus a little girl is dead and the exact truth behind her death is not set in stone, only speculation.

The Death Chair segment. Full Fonzie on water skis moment. ESPECIALLY when that one actor does a full Dick Van Dyke british accent, goading his friend to sit in the chair.

I didn't mind the death chair segment myself. I do have a weakness for british pub humour. It's funny to me how several consumed pints combined with british comedy and folklore got UM to showcase that segment along with the crop circle segment.

I also get a kick out of the "walk-in" segment when the lady says "oh I'm not who you think I am"
