Well as some of you know, last night was this huge dance competition me and my company were in and it went reallyreally late but we did awesome- well, 3rd place out of about 16 groups, so thats not bad. I got home at around one thirty and the minute I walked in the door found out that my grandfather had died.
I wasnt as close to him as I had been to my other three grandparents because he never liked children very much and really avoided me when I was younger. But its so weird that now I dont have any grandparents alive.
Its creepy because the other day this nurse he was friends with said she was taking a one month vacation and went to say goodbye to him. When he heard he said "If you're going then I'm going too" and according to another nurse he had been telling them for the past month that he wanted to be with Dorothy (my grandmother who died three years ago)
Ugh, I still havent slept. My parents forced me to eat something a few minutes ago because I hadnt since before I left yesterday afternoon. Plus Im getting sick and I have this mental thing where I get really depressed and kind of insane whenever Im sick. So I cant leave the house because the doctor people overreact about it.
I guess I could have put this in the whine and complain thread but o well. Can you guys also pray for my great aunt? Shes really upset because he was the last of her generation in my family still alive.

Like you, I never knew 3 of my 4 grandparents - they died before I was born. My remaining Grandmother (my Father's Mother) passed away when I was in the 5th grade, so I do have some memories of her.

Please try to take care of yourself - get enough to eat, and try to get enough rest (I know it's not easy). Please remember also that this is a very stressful time for your parents as well - try to be patient with them, and remember that they are doing their best for you under circumstances that are difficult for the entire family.

A lot of us will be praying for you. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.
