The games are fine, but these counting up/down type posts serve no purpose. I don't want to set it so the Chit Chat posts don't count or put a 'flood control' on here, so please try and keep things under control! Thanks.

Let's have a few more word or trivia games or riddles, and a little less counting posts that are so easy to do and obviously made to raise post counts only!

I was getting sick of them myself with all the spinoffs and whatever. People these days can't be more creative. Of course I tried to start a new game in Spanish, but LucyFan got all upset about it and called me evil. I mena like Kristina said, one can stay, but delete the rest! They're annoying and pushed all the good games back!

yes! Please Get rid of them all!

While I personally don't think they should be DELETED I think they take up space.Don't delete them per say just tell people not to make anymore.

What's the sense of keeping them? I see the same people using them just to build up there posts. Just simply lock them up.

Does counting up en espanol count??????? I actually like that game, it helps me learn my Spanish numbers! :) But if you mean the ones that are like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...etc...then yes they are annoying........

Just so you know, I only play the games when they are active. I don't go and bump them up or create new ones. Before you say anything about me wanting a higher post count, look at when I registered and how many posts I have. Believe me....if post counts mattered that much to me, I'd have ALOT more by now.

I used to play them cuz they're fun...It's kinda childish but they were kinda fun, Not all people use them to raise their post counts!

I do them because it's recreation. The good thing about those games is that everyone can play them. Many games here I can't play because I'm not familar with the topic, no one else plays, etc.

I did them because I was bored and didn't really feel like thinking LOL

I am getting sick of those games, too! I admit I participated recently but that was just once! The only reason people are participating is because Lucyfan keeps bumping it up. I think TJ should close those threads. As a matter of fact, I'll send him an IM right now.

I don't see a problem in having one or two as long as they are different. They shouldn't have to be closed.

I get tired of everyone saying people participate in those games to raise post counts. I participate in them. Look at my registration date & post count. If I really cared about a post count, I'd have ALOT more now.

I just don't see the point in typing...

Can they make it so only 1 post per day counts on your total post count. For the people who post more than once a day to inflate your count this is ridiculous.

I saw that and now she has a post announcing her daily average is over 125 posts per day. But like someone else posted at least she is not insulting anyone

Didn't you use to be RockAngel? Were you banned?

Take a look at this thread. Lucyfan started this counting game a while ago and he/she took up almost all of the first six pages besides three or four posts.

I agree. BJL's action of bumping this thread up served no purpose at all. In the past few months, the only counting game that has been played on is the original one. The rest haven't been touched at all. There really shouldn't be a reason to bump this thread up.
I don't understand why BJL is making a big deal about it. I mean, lately he has been getting after us about these games and in turn, we have been good to not "overplay" them. Then he turns around and bumps this thread up which says that the counting up/down games are going crazy but in reality they aren't. I don't get his reasoning at all. It doesn't make sense.
