Just read about it today.
Poor thing.
"Oliver was diagnosed with colorectal cancer that later metastasized to her lungs, and she died on May 10, 1990 (aged 58), at the Motion Picture and Television Hospital in Woodland Hills, California.[16]"

Had no idea she had died. Buried in Gurney?
Guess not, if she died in CA.

Must have been all the stress Princess put her under. I don't remember, was Bud or Kathy ever mean to her?
Gurney probably doesn't have the same quality of doctors as say, Stanford has.

Susan's real last name of Gercke is very similar to one I know, Gerecke.
Garcke also seems to be not uncommon.

One of my favorite roles for Susan was on Bonanza, when Edward Platt
(known for Get Smart) played an older-man character who hit on her in
a very unwelcome manner. Here's how she looked in that 1960 episode, lovely:

Jack Lord (Hawaii Five-O) played a featured character in the episode,
seen in the next image. Here we have a good look at Susan's pretty profile
and beautiful upper body:

One of Susan's most attractive features -- her blue eyes:

I've long been aware that Susan passed away while still in her 50s, however
it's very hard to believe that we're approaching 35 years since her death.

IIRC she also played Robbie's tutor in season 6 of My Three Sons. Robbie fell for her (understandably) and she met Steve someplace, and he started dating her.
