in the early episodes potsie seemed somewhat cool then he changed into somewhat of an idiot. wonder why?

Maybe they wanted someone to be a true nerd for the Fonz to pick on. After all, in the early seasons of the show when the Fonz wasn't superhuman, Potsie wasn't such a nerd. Then, when they re-made Fonzie, Potsie was dumbed down and became an easy target for the Fonz. Just a thought.

Yep What she said lol :D Although I do like it when Fonzie picks on Pots cause of the things he says to him lol but yeah Potsies my second fav character and they shoudltn have made him such a nerd in seasons 8-11

Ok, this is what Ive always believed.

In the beginning, Potsie was like a tamed down Eddie Haskel- trying to do crazy things (drag races!!!!!, drinking @ a bachelor party!!!! Strip clubs!!!!:eek: ...this man was wild!), but then, Fonzie became, like HUGE and since he was the *tough* one, yet always shelling out advice, Potsie needed to tamed down to a nerd so it wouldnt look like Potsie was cooler than Fonzie. Also, I also think that *IMO* that Chuck was no longer needed because now Fonzie was the *older brother*.

I ALWAYS thought Potsie was a dren. ;)
