I think he means shows we saw and like but aren't on TV anymore and would like to see them again. Like for me the one show I most want to see again is Popular but can't because theres no station that airs it.

Dr. Frasier Crane never saw "Empty Nest" though.

I think that it means either.

I also, would like to include shows that maybe are being shown, but at an outlandish time. You either tape the thing to watch later, or go without.

Having said that:

The Adventures of Superman (currently being shown in wee a.m. hours)
