Did the drunk driver die along with Mrs. Tanner (https://www.reddit.com/r/fullhouse/comments/1c48jyw/the_immediate_aftermath_of_pams_death/) or did they go to prison (https://www.reddit.com/r/fullhouse/comments/1c2tu3m/another_aspectthought_about_pams_death/) for a long time? I wonder if it was ever considered (especially by the time that Fuller House came around) to have Stephanie and DJ come face to face with the drunk driver who killed their mom. It's kind of like how there was an episode (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0670365/) of Party of Five, where the Salinger siblings confront the drunk driver who killed their parents:

I can't say. The only thing that I remember is that it may not have been said that a drunk driver was the reason for the accident until we hear D.J. say to Kimmy during the final season, "My mom died because of a drunk driver. I wasn't going to lose my best friend the same way."
