Cactus Jack 09-27-2002, 10:27 PM Im glad it airs Happy Days, I wonder does it cut scenes???????
AtlantaBravesFan29 09-28-2002, 10:27 AM No, I have seen scenes from the early episodes that I don't even think I've seen before: Like in the episode where Richie and Potsie buy the white car with the eagle on the hood, they are seen driving around town in the car, which I do not think I've seen before!! In fact, from the 9 episodes I have seen I don't think they've cut anything!!! And for the fact that they have remastered the film and the sound and the close captioning, this is a first!!! So WGN has picked a winner in bringing back Happy Days!!! Correct-a-mundo!!!

I'm not sure, but I do think WGN is not cutting scenes. I just started watching HD on WGN today and it seems I saw a scene that I don't recall on TVLand. Can anybody verify this? I don't have some of the early HD episodes on tape.
animalcrackers 10-04-2002, 10:24 AM Also, I just checked the HD schedule on WGN and I noticed they're not showing the episodes in order. They really skip.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 10-04-2002, 02:26 PM I dont get WGN.....poor me:(
Grr...I cant live in a town that doesnt get TVLand *waits patiently for November* (Ive waited 5 years, whats another month eh?) and I cant live in an area of America that gets WGN. Damn my bad luck!!!! Theres just NO pleasing me!
:D
DetectiveGriffin 10-04-2002, 02:33 PM i havent been watching, but if it is uncut, it should run between 24-27 minutes w/o commercials. the tvland ones are running at 22 min. ill try to record a wgn one and compare it to my tvland vcds. it is very possible that wgn is cutting different scenes -- but wouldnt it be cool if they really were showing it uncut. dude!
Stormtracker TF 10-04-2002, 03:24 PM That Would Be COOL! I think They May Not Cut Scenes From What I've Seen!

I feel your pain!
Sean Snow 10-04-2002, 10:28 PM TV Land (and N@N before it) air a different version then WGN and local stations. They make their own versions: they cut out some parts that were shown on local stations and add in some parts that are not in the local station version. So WGN version is missing some scenes, but it also has scenes that are not in the TV Land version.
Stormtracker TF 10-04-2002, 10:29 PM Yeah I Think You May Be Right!

Restless 10-08-2002, 07:46 PM I completely agree! WGN is running an older syndication package, and I love it.. I'm sure there still is a little bit edited out of the episodes, but not like TVLand's version.

Nope!
Restless 10-08-2002, 11:56 PM If you're saying that they aren't edited, cool! I thought usually anything shown in the rerun format was edited slightly, but they do seem to be the complete episodes..
