She HAD cancer -- breast cancer. I few years back. She did not have a mastectomy, but a lumpectomy. She is fully recovered and doing quite well. She credits her husband for helping her make it through the disease.

Now -- "it was ET?" What was?

Um... I think I can decipher this, lol. Entertainment Tonight (ET) did a little two minute thing on Rue two weeks ago. She talked about being diagnosed with breast cancer, and her new movie. I think it was repeated again tonight, or it will be repeated tomorrow night (I think tomorrow).

What's her new movie? I haven't heard about it...

It's called The Fighting Temptations, and Rue is co-starring with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce Knowles. An August 8, 2003 release date has been set.

Wow, I never knew that she had breast cancer. That must have been real hard for her. I am glad she recovered the cancer with the help of her husband. Her husband should be proud of himself for being with his wife at a time of need. :clap:
