I have a question...
What was the man's name who played Mr. Foster on last night's episode? I missed the credits. He looked familiar, does anyone know if he was in any other LITB episodes or if he was ever in any movies or other shows?
Thanks,
BBF:wave:
P.S. After changing it about a million times, I think I FINALLY got my siggy the way I wanted it. Do you like it?

Ross Elliott (1917-1999) played Mr. Foster in the 1961 "Leave it to Beaver" episode, "Teacher's Daughter." He is also credited with playing Mr. Hyatt in the 1960 "LITB" episode, "Wally's Election."

Elliott played Sheriff Abbott on the TV series, "The Virginian" and was one of the performers on Orson Welles' classic "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast.

Elliott also appeared in many TV episodes, including "I Love Lucy" (as The Director in "Lucy Does a TV Commercial"), "Adam-12" (as Mr. Richmond in "A Rare Occaison." That episode also featured a young, unknown actor named David Cassidy as Elliott's son); and "The Mod Squad" (as Charlie Hyatt in "Fear is the Bucking Horse").

Ross Elliot also played Ricky's press agent in Hollywood in I Love Lucy, with his character using his real name. Another movie I have seen him in is Tarantula (1955) where he is the skeptical reporter of the smalltown newspaper. I rather like this movie, with the main effect being that they used a real tarantula superimposed as the gigantic monster which eats people and cattle. But if you look really closely at many of the scenes I think you can tell that Elliot, John Agar, Mara Corday, and Leo G. Carroll are kind of embarrassed to be in it.
