What a horrible thing to do to poor marshmallow
>>>A fluffernutter is a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow creme usually served on white bread.<<<

By the way, Fluffernutter was my nickname in college

I believe that there was a product also named Fluffernutter too. I know this because there used to be a commercial for it that had the lyrics,
"If You Like Fluff Fluff Fluff then try some Fluffernutter,
"Then You Spread Spread Spread on some peanut butter"
Sadly I don't think Fluffernutter is made anymore but it was a great product

Here is the original commercial from the 1960's:

While some folks live and die by the classic Fluffernutter,
there are other that like it made with toasted bread (just remember to spread the peanut butter and Fluff onto the toast while it’s still hot!),
or “Elvis-style” with added sliced bananas. You can also swap out the classic Fluff for Strawberry or Raspberry Fluff (yes, both varieties exist),
but it’s been my experience that you don’t see too many pink Fluffernutters. If you want a fruity sandwich, that’s what a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is for!
Are you a Fluffernutter fan?

Looks worse than it sounds. And it sounds bad.

I've practically lived on peanut butter sandwiches all my life. Still do. But I've never tried this combination -- even though I've known about it for some years now.

It's not a negative. Originally I gravitated to PB & J as an alternative to the very sauce-laden, adult Greek dishes my family members (all older than me) were eating. I wasn't quite ready for baked cod with spinach, pork kebabs, lentil soup, or stuffed green peppers at age 5 or 6.
It's a full-on PB addiction in a way now, but there are worse things people can (and do) put into their bodies. :)

I don't find the idea of marshmallow with bread appealing.
