The Surviving GI DVD came in the mail today.. Wheeee!! I'm so excited, but I had to come tell you (and do my homework) first. I know if I watched it first I'd never be able to do my homework later. LOL. It took me 20 minutes to get all of those darn DVD stickers off of it though. hehe.
After I watch the Special Features I'll report back here.... :D

Cool. :cool: I asked for the DVD for Christmas. I'd get it now but I don't have any money. I'm one of those "poor college students." :D (which isn't really anything to smile about but I'm trying to remain positive) LOL

Aw, it's okay, I'm a "poor high school student" so it all works out. I squirreled away $17.75 and found the cheapest site on the net that has it. LOL.
Just watched the Special Features...some of the outtakes are genuinely funny, but some are just like "right...that's not an outtake." LOL. I heard there were gonna be deleted scenes...but there weren't. **grumbles at whoever made up the rumor** And don't even watch the features under the 'hidden coconut' button... the "Driving ____" things. Frankly, that's just boring. They coulda been hysterical, but, alas, they weren't. Hope I didn't burst anyone's bubble. LOL. It's still worth it though!
But all's well b/c I still love the movie!

Yeah, I played the trivia game. I'm ashamed to say that it kicked my butt. Some of the questions were actually really hard. I got pretty far but then had *no* idea about the next answer so I decided to move on to something else. I'll go back and play it again tonight probably.

Okay, I gotta go...I'm at school and they flip out if they find out we're using the computers for non-school stuff. hehe.

Maybe there are deleted scenes and they are easter eggs in the DVD...

i'm a "poor high school student" as well.....poor me. i'd get the dvd except that i don't have a dvd player. VHS FOREVER BABY!!! no, not really. i want a dvd player. i want extra stuff with my movies. but also.....i have no credit card and my parents will give me "the look" if i ask for a gilligan's island movie. lol. but they did get me a cookie jar in the shape of a hut that plays the theme song for my birthday....so.....they are somewhat supportive of my obsession. lol
