You know,if pressures of fame (or lack of success too) are what drive people over the edge, how come Gabriel Melgar didnt get all depressed and do something "stupid" after his show was cancelled?(thankfully he didnt).Look at all the bad press he got about how lousy a Chico substitute he was....that would lower anyones self-esteem. I am glad he didnt do anything foolish...but its things like that happening(bad press, cancelled show) that would lead to such tragedies.I am glad he had a strong constitution and didnt follow in his shows former co-stars "footsteps".

I could understand what you are saying but, in reality Freddie had a problem. When a person does drugs everything changes for them. Cocaine is a powerful substance. Look at Whitney Houston, Robert Downey Jr. right now. You can have it all. Personally I have seen alot of people die from them. He was literally crying out for help.... You can see it. I know some people don't want the help. Freddie was so young when he passed. Just like River Pheonix. Someone should have done something especially when he was waving a gun around and playing with it. Talk about crying out for help! I think this lesson should be taught to each and everyone of us. Know the warning signs & take heed. Get help.......
