It felt weird for a few seconds, but I wasn't thinking earthquake. I did look outside to see if any trucks were rumbling by. Then about a half an hour later I found out what had happened.

I felt shaking for maybe 7 seconds.

Yeah it was felt down here in Maryland too.

I just turned on my radio at 9:30AM and I'm hearing EQ and NY and now I see what they are talking about....

Every time I hear a creak in my bedroom when it's quiet, it's the earth moving it's said.....hope for under 5 tremors....

Just a little shaking here in NJ.

Wow !! Prayers for all of you that went through this ! So scary !:( I been through so many earthquakes living out in LA and it's really creepy and nerve wracking ! Something you never get used to , esp. If you are in an area that doesn't normally get earthquakes ! Glad you all are OK!

I was in bed and my bed moved a little back and fourth 2 times.....

Yeah really! But they are not used to earthquakes back east. For a first experienced one, 4.8 is pretty big !':eek:
