Hi all.

Do any of you on this forum know that the pilot of Little House on the Prairie aired exactly 50 years ago today to the date and day?
To recreate that time, my family and I are gonna watch it tonight.
The pilot aired as part of NBC's Saturday Night at the Movies series.

Yes! I watched the pilot back in February, but in honor of the anniversary I did finish listening to Alison Arngrim's reading of Little House in the Big Woods. As to my memories of the pilot: a poster appeared on the door of the school library advertising it. This was only about a year after I'd finished reading all the books. I looked at it with doubt, hoping they did the books justice. Whether I actually saw the pilot that night is a matter of some question. I was at a school carnival that evening and I don't know when I got home from the carnival or when the pilot started. I almost certainly saw it starting at some point to the end even if I missed the beginning. I vividly remembered parts of it fifty years later but when I saw it in February it was even better than I remembered.
