With the passing of Louis Gossett Jr. today what few people didn't realize about him was he was in a commercial for Oreo Cookies in 1987. This commercial appeared to be the only Oreo Cookies commercial Louis did. The commercial begins with the Oreo Cookies jingle where we see Louis happily eating Oreo Cookies while he talks about why he loves Oreo Cookies so much. I don't know how Nabisco chose Louis Gossett Jr. to promote Oreo Cookies in 1987 but they must've given him a whole lot of money for this commercial
