Has anyone noticed that TV Land always airs Law & Disorder with the 3rd Season episodes. Even in their episode guide at tvland.com they list it as episode 65 when it should be episode 86 and that means all episodes between 65 and 86 are all numbered wrong.

Why is it like that?

We Brady fans know, that that episode aired on Jan 12, 1973 but for some reason they have that episode with the episodes that aired in Jan 1972.

I've e-mailed TV Land but they act like nothing's wrong and I posted a message on The Brady Bunch message board at tvland.com and got a response of:

In syndication, this episode is included in the 3rd Season grouping. TV Land tends to air (when airing shows in order) according to how they are set out in the syndication package, because of contractual issues. I don't know why it is included in the "third year" episodes in the syndication package.

I don't buy this since, on Nick at Nite it never aired as episode 65 and when The Brady Bunch was shown in syndication, the episodes were all shown in production order.

Does anyone have a clue?

Well, I emailed Paramount and they responded saying they corrected the error with the airdates. They're records stated January 12, 1972 as being the airdate for Law & Disorder. They said they sent a message to TV Land, so hopefully, they'll start airing it with the rest of the 4th Season episodes.
