I've heard about this many yrs ago but have not gone there.

A friend bought a prepper box with food stuffs and it's been in her closet for years.....I hope she's thrown it out.

Yeah! I really wish I was more of a " prepper"! I worry about big earthquakes ! But besides having quite a few flashlights and lots of bottled water , other than that I can truly say we are not really prepared in my household !:eek:

I have 2 gallons of water and some band aids if anything crazy happens. I have some candles but that is because years ago I liked candles :)

I have many candles, scented ones cause I love them. But they aren't good out here in an earthquake. Very unsafe. :eek:I never even really leave candles lit unattended for any long period of time in normal circumstances in case a quake hits and the candles fall over and catches fire I can get it out in time !

That's why they recommend flashlights out here for light if we lose power ! ;)

I cook grilled chicken with peppers. I like the taste of red and yellow peppers better than green ones.

Nah - I'll go down fighting.

It would be awful to survive - no medical care/dental - no nothing.

I'll fight until the end.

In the meantime - I am enjoying my ham and cheese sandwich - with chips.

My parents started buying a lot of dried beans. Both are gone now and I wonder who got the beans?

Wonder if some here don't know what prepping means. All I can say it's costly enough to keep food in our homes for day to day life...and yet the prepping issue. Every time I order groceries some of the prices are UP....again.

Even the so called junk foods are out of sight price wise.

I think things are gonna hit the fan very soon Carole!!!
