One of the earliest child singing talents of the 70's was a young singer named Stacy Lattisaw who made her debut at 12 years old and is best remembered for the song Let Me Be Your Angel which was also covered by Kimberly Scott and Star Search winner Tiffany Evans and for her age Stacy Lattisaw was really special in her talent. Stacy Lattisaw continued singing throughout the 80's with singer Johnny Gill who later became Stacy's crush but although they never married they remained crushes. Some of Stacy Lattisaw's other hits were Million Dollar Babe and Attack Of The Name Game which Mariah Carey sampled in her 1999 hit Heartbreaker on her album Rainbow. I must admit Stacy Lattisaw's songs were cute and with her amazing voice Stacy knew how to put on a great show. Stacy Lattisaw retired in the 90's but is still amazing today

I didn't know who Stacy Lattisaw was until I heard her song Attack Of The Name Game sampled on Mariah Carey's hit Heartbreaker and that song led me to discover more about her and I listened to Attack Of The Name Game and that's a cool song that is one of her funnest songs. But when paired with Johnny Gill Stacy and him made a great duo and they should've gotten married because they could've made more duets and become like Ashford And Simpson. It's rare to find singers like Stacy Lattisaw today who can really show their singing power
