"That Girl Lay Lay" to End with Season 2 at Nickelodeon

The end is in sight for "That Girl Lay Lay".
The Nickelodeon buddy comedy starring teen hip-hop artist Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green will end with the current second season, we’ve learned. The Season 2 finale, which will now serve as the series finale, airs tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20.
“After 46 episodes across two seasons of That Girl Lay Lay, we are ending production on the show, and we are incredibly grateful to the cast and crew for their immeasurable contributions on the production,” a Nickelodeon spokesperson confirmed in a statement to Deadline.
Series creator David A. Arnold died in September 2022 at 54.
