From the 1950's to 1970's and even through the 1980's it was common for food companies to produce recipe ideas for different holidays in commercials. One company that did this was Kraft and beginning in the 1950's Kraft introduced it's first recipe idea commercial which was for Kraft American Singles with a after-school snacks theme and taught you everything you needed to have perfect after school snacks for kids. While they did recipe idea commercials for other holidays Kraft's most popular commercials of this type were their Christmas Holiday Idea commercials beginning in the 1970's. I must admit after seeing these commercials I must say some of the recipes in these commercials do sound tasty while some recipes are odd to me. In the 1980's Kraft continued these commercials while sponsoring Walt Disney World with Epcot Center inspired recipe idea commercials to honor Epcot Center's opening in 1982 and even had Disneyland recipe idea commercials too. But in 1987 Kraft debuted a new set of Holiday Idea commercials by also teaming up with TV Guide by including a mini recipe idea section in the magazine and debuted a slogan/jingle "Celebrate The Season With Kraft" These commercials stopped airing in 1989 but are great commercial nostalgia
