If you're from California then you probably are familiar with Stater Bros Markets. Stater Bros was a privately owned supermarket chain found mostly in Southern California and were best known for their award winning meat department. But Stater Bros had the most interesting commercials. Perhaps their best known commercials are the ones that featured this slogan/jingle In The Heartland Of California and the singer sounds like it might be country singer Travis Tritt. But when you see these commercials you'll understand why supermarkets in the 90's were better than they are today. It's a real surprise that some Southern California supermarkets are still surviving today while some others are a thing of the past
