Just over a year ago while perusing the local Goodwill I found a Roku ultra for $5.00. I bought this with the intent of reselling it on eBay. As with any electronics I resell I always test them first. There were 8 subscriptions that are still active and all sign-in automatically. This includes:

Discovery+
Disney+
Frndly
Hulu
Pandora
Paramount+
Peacock
Prime video

Netflix is also there, but requires a password and I have made no attempt to try to figure it out. Only 20 channels total are on the device including freebies such as Crackle, Freevee, Roku channel, Tubi etc... With the exception of Pandora, all subscribed channels belong to the same person and are all set to renew automatically each month. Please keep in mind that this was a blind buy as I had absolutely no way of knowing that it would be active. As for my dilemma, see the poll options.

The person may have bought a new Roku and didn't think to do a factory reset to remove their information from the old one.

You can do a factory reset and resell it. When you reset the Roku, the saved device settings and personal preferences will be deleted.

Look for this option in the Settings.

Hi Zoneboy,
When my mom and I have apps that we no longer use we go to the streaming channels section and click on the channels and it will have choices of "info" "move" or "delete" and you can click the delete option and then the channels will be deleted from the Roku menu and you can start from scratch by adding the channels you really like and need. But I cannot figure out how my mom reset the Roku but I think Mom unplugged mine then plugged it back in and it worked. But be aware that Roku does sometimes freeze but you can always unplug it and plug it back in if you encounter freezing but ALWAYS unplug your TV and the Roku first at the same time if problems with your Roku occur
Congutulations on your Roku purchase and enjoy it,
Hawkee

Hi Zoneboy,
It's Hawkee just checking to see how you have been enjoying your Roku? Did you do the hints I told you about? And have you figured out how to delete the apps you no longer need? I am curious to know Zoneboy?
