I am not a fan of Maury or Springer. But lately I have watched some of both. I just want to know, where in the hell do they find these people? Seriously. Where do they come from! How does the shows seek these people out? And why in the hell would these people want to sort their dirty laundry on these shows?

Do they just troll the ghettos and trailer parks finding these folks? Do they write in wanting to be on these shows! Are they paid? How do we know that they aren’t paid actors?

Like I said, am really not a big fan of either show but the people are shocking. Recent ones are a cousin marriage and another guy who who had sex with his fiancées mother!

How do they get these people?

The shows don't find them, guests contact them to tell their stories and then the show decides who they want on. Whether the stories are true is another story.

Guaranteed that some of these people just want exposure (15 minutes of fame). I call these people "talk show hoppers" as they have appeared on multiple shows. One of these guests was "Gary the Racist" who appeared on "Dr. Phil, "Maury" and "The Steve Wilkos Show".

One family also appeared on "Maury" for one of those "Wild Teen" episodes and then also appeared on "Jerry Springer".

In reality, some of these "guests" are probably real actors playing a part.

After the Jenny Jones show incident, I figured all these type of shows switched to using actors as guests.

I'm pretty sure it came out that Springer was fake.
