Today is the 34th anniversary of Here's Lucy! Happy 34th to one of the funniest sitcoms ever created (Thanks entirely to our favorite Redhead, Lucille Ball!) :D

This is very weird: This thread so happens to be the 34th thread of this message board. And this post is the 134th post of this board. Wow!

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, that 34 business sounds like it belongs on the Twilight Zone more than on Here's Lucy! When we watched ILL, we thought it was the greatest, then The Lucy show came on and everybody said it wasn't as good as ILL, then when Here's Lucy came on, they said it wasn't as good as The Lucy show, well, guess what, we were wrong and absence makes the heart grow fonder, they were all GREAT! We look back at them now and say what were we thinking?

I agree with you Splain. I hope the Hallmark channel brings The Lucy Show to its programming SOON!!! I've been waiting for months. I've also been emailing TVLAND about adding The Lucy Show and/or Here's Lucy. My idea is to have a "Lucy Sunday", 2 1/2 hours of Lucy to begin the week with. I Love Lucy followed by Lucy Desi Comedy Hour, followed by The Lucy Show and finally Here's Lucy. What do yall think about my idea?

If that actually happened, i would think i had died and gone to heaven. Maybe that's what heaven is, a non stop Lucy channel, well it would be for us anyway! Keep bugging those programmers, i'm getting everybody to make me copies of everything because i can afford it, but some people can't and until all the shows are available season by season on DVD, this is what has to be done, we have to bug them all until we can see them all!

There is a seperate heaven for female TV stars. Currently, Lucille is chatting with Madeline Kahn and Gilda Radner.

Gilda maybe, but i doubt she's chatting with Madeline as Lucy got her fired from Mame. But there were no hard feelings as Madeline went to Blazing Saddles which was a big hit, when she was interviewed about Lucy, she did not put her down, thank God, classy lady. As for Gilda, she got cancer and was in the hospital when Lucy was brought in for her big operation at the end, she died a few months after Lucy!
