:birthday: One of the great TV moms turned 94 yesterday, the 22nd. I also remember her from the 80s show New Leave it to Beaver, as the voice of Nanny in The Muppet Babies, and of course, the Jive Lady in Airplane. :lol: God bless her!!

Growing up as a child of the 80s, I knew her FIRST as Nanny, and THEN saw her in both the old and new Leave It to Beaver shows (one of our local stations ran them back to back). Then I watched Airplane. God bless her. :D

^ It was jarring to see her in the Airplane role, but she was funny, definitely. I had just discovered LITB in afternoon reruns shortly before I saw that film. Not exactly June Cleaver style dialogue! :lol:

I thought of having a character on my TV Show where you NEVER see her face nor head! And in one scene, the character that falls in love with here kisses her, you still don't see her head.

Maybe Nanny talked through her neck, look at Dilbert he has no mouth...but talks!
