Harold Gould, who played 'Pop' on RHODA once made a guest appearance on THE FLYING NUN in it's first season (1967). I couldn't mistake his voice, though he was, of course, much younger. Still a strikingly handsome guy.
What was odd was that in every role I ever saw him in (TV shows, movies) he always played a quintessential Jewish man. In TFN, he plays a visiting Irish Catholic priest - and is so very convincing! I kept saying to myself, "Rhoda's Jewish father Martin was once an Irish priest???" Sure enough the end credits affirmed it!
