Really a good question. It was on over-the-air MeTV about a month and a half ago, and won't be around again for quite awhile. It is probably coming up in several months on MeTV +, 5:30 pm ET on Saturdays.

As you might know it's missing from streaming, along with another episode from that season. That would include Frndly TV which streams MeTV, and Amazon Prime. On streaming MeTV I was told they substituted another episode.

There are series sets sold on various websites, but as we all know the color seasons have never been officially released on DVD.

Odd that it isn't released in its entirety.

Available online, free, at Archive.org -- one of only a handful of S8 eps they offer. Try this link -- and enjoy:

I checked, and the other season 8 episode not on streaming, Uncle Charley's Aunt, is also on Archive.org. It's the TV Land version, which includes the Douglas family accompanying Katie singing "Downtown" at the beginning. That's probably the reason it's not on streaming. Thanks for finding this source, Biff!

Thank you. It was nice to see how they left and arrived.

Whats up with Robbie finding miss right on the second day?

Were they dating in real life?

Supposedly Tina Cole and Don Grady had a thing going later. She wrote about it in her book a few years ago.

S8 Ep 1 had an instrumental of "California Here I Come" playing during a short montage of shots as they are driving to California. The song is old and is probably still under copyright, and the rights were never negotiated for streaming; thus, no streaming.

Other music that is cut out:

The Downtown song mentioned above: full episode missing from streaming. There is other music later in the episode which could also be a problem.
Bub singing Carolina in the Morning in a season 3 episode: cut on all airings--probably the rights have expired
Some short musical snippets in the black and white years, including the Cub Scouts singing K-k-k-Katie a few times in an episode.
Katie singing a song written by Don Grady in "Katie's Career" from season 12. The song is cut tow times, making for a very short-running episode. Agin, the rights have probably expired.
