I just recently read on IMDB that there was a Clerks TV show based on Kevin Smiths indie film. Im not talking about Clerks the Cartoon that was out about 3 years ago on ABC. im talking about on ABC in 1995 with Jim Bruer and Keri Russell. again i am not sure how accurate this is but it was listed on IMDB. can someone shed some light on it?

Thanks

I've never heard of such a thing, and I've been following Smith since day one. I remember hearing a rumour that the studio was considering remaking Clerks in colour once the film was picked up, maybe Bruer was supposed to star in that?

Your best bet, try the WWWboard at Viewaskew.com, those guys know everything about Smith related issues, ask them....it'll give them a sense of purpose in life.

Good luck,

My guess is that it's an unsold pilot.I'm not sure though.

You may be right Sitcomwriter.
I do remember hearing many years ago about plans to make a sitcom based on the "Clerks" movie, although I never knew if they actually did a pilot of not...
