I remember my cousin having a cassette copy of The Simpsons Sing The Blues album that was released in 1990 and I thought it was surprising that The Simpsons got into music too. I also later got my own copy of The Simpsons Sing The Blues in a CD format and I find it hard to believe that Do The Bartman was released as a single from the album but the rest of the album is really cool. Did Fox want to promote The Simpsons more by making them music stars? I also have another The Simpsons album called The Yellow Album and that album is considered rare and hard to find because it was the weakest The Simpsons album. Did The Simpsons want to become a singing group like The Partridge Family and The Brady Bunch?
