I was hearing today on my news stations of the Long Waits to see a doctor more than ever and could be from the Covid stuff we've been thru. I'm glad my doctor visits are behind me as I now have a service of doctor house calls. This service is being offered more now for seniors who have given up driving and have issues getting to docs. The nurse is coming here tomorrow to draw some blood for a few issues that I'd like to know about. It's been at least 2 yrs since I've had labs done...And last tests were all very good as I've changed my foods a lot.

My major issue is body damage from the hip job and I just need to live with it and keep myself as limber as I know how to.

Yes, walk-in clinics for blood work are really convenient. I would just avoid going first thing in the morning, because that's when they seem to be the busiest since people have been fasting. A couple months ago I was able to go to one on my lunch hour and get back to work in enough time.

I've been doing labs for years in the non fasting mode...I figure fasting is not the true ME as I eat more than fast....

So many medical rules are just plain foolish and not t hought out by "normal folks"...
