With the recent, sooner than expected, conclusion of The Ghost and Molly McGee earlier last month, I can't help but think of why it ended prematurely. The same goes for other shows that met a similar fate like The Owl House, and potentially other shows in the future like Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Hailey's On It. There are several reasons that could explain this trend of shortening Disney Channel cartoons, but I personally believe Disney plus and how often content is uploaded there may be the biggest reason why.

The cartoons made for Disney+ seem really boring or just plain awful. Honestly, most of the Disney+ made programming has been terrible, in my opinion. I'm not trying to be a "snob", just feel like the writing behind the shows has been lazy and lack creativity. It's a shame because a lot of the TVA animation that got made for Disney Channel were actually mostly good, or at least better than the D+ counterparts.
