View Full Version : Who thinks Alyssa has made choices that will cause the reboot not to happen?

I feel they shouldn't do it now. It's always fun to see reboots but this just is one I think won't succeed. It will be over and done with whatever order they get of episodes for season 1.

A lot of fans are upset at her.

The story makes no sense what they released about what they want to do with her and Tony on the series if it happens. But now there's just been more and more negativity in the last few months with her. The producer says they are waiting until the "New Year" after the Holidays. It's almost March. Since the Holidays there's been more negative stuff posted on her and people being upset.

-Shannen Doherty connection and stuff between them about Charmed
-the GoFundMe for raising money for her to go to the superbowl (when she has money!)
-now dining at the expensive restaurant with her husband (when she has money!)

She has a big ego, and she's lucky she hasn't been blacklisted. I know if I did that stuff and I was a big celeb I'd be in a second.

The reboot is supposed to be "Her show" with Tony "assisting" and no clue if Judith will be there full time or if Angela is married or still around Tony in any way.

I feel it will be dumb if Freeve approves the reboot after all this happening.

That reminds me of this recent Daily Mail article (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-13074945/alyssa-milano-controversies-rich-beggar-super-bowl-gofundme-charmed.html).

Who's the Boss was always about Tony and Angela anyway. The rest were supporting characters. I'm finished with Alyssa and I used to be a fan of hers. Let WTB be remembered as it was...a great sitcom from the 1980's. You can't always go home again.

Alyssa is a nutjob, but so is most of Hollywood so they'll probably do it. Tony seems pretty sane so maybe he can straighten her out if they do it.

I don't think there's any real (fan) demand for a "Who's the Boss?" revival.

Other revivals that weren't needed in my opinion, such as "Murphy Brown" and "Punky Brewster", flopped.

I was excited about Punky as I was hoping they would bring her mother back and they did it right in the last episode of season 1!

Murphy Brown yuck!

Sadly, my audience company (which closed) lost out to paging Punky. But they only paged at the Pilot as once the series got approved after they filmed the pilot in September or so of 2019, covid happened and they filmed the rest without one I heard. I had moved home by this time so I wasn't missing anything.

Who's The Boss? I saw "fanfics" in the early 2000s of what would have happened if there was a 9th season and so and so...there was a fanbase still at that time, and a fanbase that wanted to see the show back around that time for a "reunion movie" NOT A REBOOT SERIES.

Reboot series started around the time Girl Meets World/Dallas did theirs in the early 2010s. Before that, we only had a few TV movies in the early 2000s for Growing Pains and The Facts Of Life. All the other sitcoms we got smack. All the other nighttime dramas too. Nothing

There is a subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/WhosTheBossSitcom/) devoted to Who's the Boss? that I just stumbled across, so it isn't like the fans "aren't out there".

I think a big problem is that Who's the Boss? isn't widely or readily available to rewatch. Only the first season was officially released (https://www.answers.com/movies-and-television/Why_were_no_more_seasons_for_%27Who%27s_the_Boss%27_put_on_DVD_after_the_first_one) to DVD (https://filmboards.com/board/t/All-the-seasons-need-to-be-on-dvd-1580471/) and that was back in 2004 (https://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/10789/whos-the-boss-the-complete-first-season/). Also, for the longest time, Who's the Boss? (https://www.tigerstrypes.com/whos-the-boss/) wasn't on a major streaming service, although it was recently added (https://www.reddit.com/r/sitcoms/comments/18apeuk/whos_the_boss_now_on_hulu/) to Hulu.

-the GoFundMe for raising money for her to go to the superbowl (when she has money!)

WTF Did she really do that? Was it something like raising money for kids to go and she gets to tag along for free, or literally like "give me money so I can go to the superbowl instead of you"?!

Sady, she's now charging $80 for selfies?!

All you need to do is google her and every few days or so there's something else to be ashamed of or her being needy from the public.

Who's The Boss? will NOT be getting a reboot.

Why?

TOO MUCH TIME HAS PASSED

THE ORIGINAL WAS ABOUT TONY AND ANGELA AND ALYSSA WAS JUST THE KID WHO THE GUYS WANTED TO DATE

IT DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT THAT SHE MARRIED HANK AND WAS SO DATE-LIKE AND THEN THEY HAD KIDS FAR LATE IN LIFE. JUST MAKES ZERO SENSE. THEIR KIDS WOULD HAVE BEEN 8/9/10 OR SO IF THE SHOW HAD A REUNION MOVIE AROUND 2002-2004ish. THAT'S ALL THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED WITH THIS SHOW. IT'S TOO LATE FOR ONE.

ALYSSA IS ALWAYS MAKING HEADLINES IN THE WORST WAYS

THE NEW SHOW WILL SEPARATE TONY AND ANGELA AS SHE ISN'T LIVING AT THE HOUSE AND HE MOVES IN TO HELP WITH "SAM'S KIDS" WHO ARE KIDS INSTEAD OF WELL INTO ADULTHOOD...

"Oh, we are gonna hear after the holidays."

Okay...Christmas and New Years is over. January went by. February. March. We are almost in April.

And as the years go by since 1992, we are to believe that Sam has "kids" that are ages 14 or younger. JUST NO. No...no...no...NO. It's been 32 years since Sam's wedding. And she has kids that are 10-14? Or younger?! No. No way no how!

Whatever scripts they wrote for the first 2 episodes, executives at Freevee need to think these things over. She WAS MARRIED TO HANK. She's now divorced. It doesn't mention that she's divorced just from him. Or was she married more than once? I mean, 32 years passed and she has "Kids". No, no, no....surely she had to have had at least one with Hank, and that kid, had they divorced early in the 1990s, would be around early 30s now. Her character was very smut like as she got older, so for sure she was sleeping with Hank in more ways than just "sharing the same bed"! HAHAHAH! Whether she stayed with him or left him and married again, she most likley slept around after that. No way does she have "kids" in that age range. It just doesn't sound believable given she was that "flirty-kissy-lovey type". THIS ALONE IS THE BIGGEST FACTOR THAT WILL RUIN CREDIBILITY OF THE SHOW. Even if they separate Angela and Tony. What are the gonna say? She married again later in the 2010s? Then had kids? No. No way. She would have had them in the 1990s or early 2000s, latest. Whether she was with hank or someone else after him. Or will they say she had a hard time getting pregnant and then did? Or are they gonna say she adopted the because she couldn't conceive? But, really, 1993 to early 2000s and I feel that would have been it with her and "kids".

Alyssa Milano - why does everyone hate her?
