The episode is available (public domain) at the Internet Archive. http://www.archive.org/details/Love_That_Bob-5x09_Bob_becomes_A_Stage_Uncle I think I have this episode. Have to look at it. LOL snorlaxnut 10-10-2008, 02:12 PM I saw it, no Ozzie.:( This site here: http://www.tv.com/the-bob-cummings-show/bob-becomes-a-stage-uncle/episode/179069/summary.html and on the page on Dwayne Hickman's website (http://www.dwaynehickman.com/cgi-bin/Mystore/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=ENTER+STORE+TO+PURCHASE+VIDEOS&thispage=page11.html&ORDER_ID=!ORDERID!) where he sells DVDs of Love That Bob says that in "Bob Becomes A Stage Uncle": "Bob's had it with nephew Chuck's constant singing, so Margaret gets guest star Ozzie Nelson to tell him Chuck can be a star." And in the episode "Bob Butters Beck — Beck Butters Better", they mention the song Chuck recorded with help from Ozzie. But I don't know whats the name of the episode that had Ozzie in it. The copy of "Bob Becomes A Stage Uncle" that I have is not the one. I thought maybe the part with Ozzie was just edited out since it ran just over 25 minutes and some shows ran 26 minutes or longer in those days, but at the end, when the announcer gave the credits, he didn't mention him either. ILUVO&H 10-11-2008, 10:04 AM Does Dwayne Hickman take any questions on hsi site? Does he have an e-mail there? Perhaps the question could be posed to him and he have an answer. This is the first I have heard of Ozzie on Love that Bob. Like all of you I'd love to see it if we could ever find it. I saw elsewhere that Dwayne made an appearance on Ozzie and Harriet, what episode was he in? |
