June 17, 1974 Pamela Britton, actress "Loralee Brown" from My Favorite Martian, dies at age 51


In May 1974, while performing on tour with Don Knotts in The Mind with the Dirty Man, Britton began to have headaches. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and died within two weeks. She was 51.

:rip: She also played Blondie in the TV series version of the comic strip/movie series, opposite Arthur Lake, who played Dagwood in the movies. What a pretty lady and talented actress gone too soon.

I remember her from both those shows. Gone much too soon. R.I.P.

OMG she was so young. She seemed like a good soul.

It was nice that she got to reunite with Bill Bixby on an episode of The Magician shortly before. But very sad end to her life.
