Does Anyone know what happened to Gabriel Melgar (he played Raul Garcia)????? Please help it's driving me crazy. I watched this magnificent show as a child....now I'm 30 and I just introduced the show to my own childern (Thanks to TV Land) and I guess that we all know what happened to the other actors throughout the years but.....Raul Garcia. He just disappeared. It's driving me crazy! I'm about ready to hire "find a friend" to track him down! LOL! If you have any info. PLEASE post it. Thank you!

I tried to find out info for you cause I'm curious myself, but all I could locate is that his real name was Gabriel Melgar, and he was born November 6, 1964. That's all I could find-sorry there's not more...

He had an appearance on CHiPs and The Love Boat post-Chico and the Man, and then apparently stopped acting shortly after that..

I think he was a talwented actor_ I saw him on the love boat but being cast as a replacement for such a celebrity like Freddie damaged his career right of the bat

I got this off the "imbd" site---from the e-mail address, it looks like Gabriel himself posted this!! About 2 months ago, I sent a fan e-mail to that address, but never got a reply.
