1)After "My Three Sons" ended, the 1974 ABC /Universal TV movie that the late Fred Mac Murray did,the family "My Three Sons"-esque family drama "The Chadwick Family"? or 2)The 1986-1988 NBC series "Our House",and 3)The 1991-? ABC comedy "Davis Rules",with Randy Quaid and Jonathan Winters?

I remember 'Our House' and 'Davis Rules'. "Davis Rules' was very simular to 'My Three Sons' in structure (father, 3 sons, grandfather) and it was actually a funny show.

The following two are not really clones, but we see some strong similarities:

I think we should mention Nanny & The Professor from ABC. Here we had a single man, who was also a widower like Steve Douglas, raising three children while having permanent, live-in assistance.

Also, let's also remember Family Affair, the companion Fedderson production: A single man, again raising three children with live-in assistance.

In the case of these two series (unlike the all-male early years of M3S), both had 2 females in the house and 3 males! So I suppose you could say that Nanny/Prof was cloning Family Affair moreso than M3S. But again the Prof was a widower like Steve D., while Uncle Bill wasn't.

'Nanny and the Professor' was pretty cool. It needs to be on DVD.

I'm a fan of Richard Long and enjoy seeing his work on The Big Valley. Passed away at age 47. I like Juliet Mills also. Nanny & The Professor used to be one of my favorite shows when I was able to watch in syndication.

There's a minor My Three Sons connection: IIRC, originally Dawn Lyn ("Dodie") was set to play the daughter, Prudence, on N&TP. Of course, Kim Richards got that role.
