COLOR=deeppink]Okay, I was just wondering if you could add another character on Cheers what would he/she look like and be like. I mean we had everything in Cheers, a beer lover, a know it all, a guy that loved sex, etc. I was thinking and I couldnt really think of anyone. I just wanted to hear what other people had to say.[/COLOR] :)

Cheers never had a regular cast member of color. Maybe I'd add a black or hispanic to the cast to add to the dynamics.

I always thought it would be interesting if they added a social counterpart for Diane (a female) Who laughed at her jokes and thought as highly of herself as diane thinks of herself.

I heard from a website that on Cheers there was supposed to be a wisecracking wheel chair bound grandma on the show, but they cut the character out. Which was probably one of the smartest moves in tv history. lol :scratching head:

I'd add me. Once Frasier and Lilith broke up... POOF! There's me.

First, I said "basically" described Frasier. Secondly, a psychiatrist IS a doctor. And thirdly, for the MAJORITY of the show, he DID have a successful marriage. It wasn't until the last stupid season they decided to screw everything up.

Mainly, the character you described was far too close to Frasier and would have never happened.

I was just defending my point. The subject's dead either way.

In reply to the actual subject, I'd add myself. ;) As Lilith and Frasier's long lost daughter. Or at least Lilith's. :)

Why make up a character? I think they should have made Harry The Hat (Harry Anderson) a regular from the beginning.

I wouldn't add another character...I think that would ruin it for me if they would have.

supposedly if Cheers lasted another sesaon, they were gonna make Paul a regular(not the early Paul, but the later, fat one lol). if u noticed in season 11, he (Phil, too) took part in most episodes in roles that were about as substantial as norm and Cliff in some eps

I would not like it if Paul became a real "regular" he sort of bothered me and not many of the other regulars liked him either so I don't think he would have fit well with everyone else. I did like Phil though.
