Hello all! Recently I read what I believe to be a poorly research statement about how women were portrayed on early TV. The author states that Harriet Nelson's character on the show was prone to fainting (sign of a weak woman?) but I cannot remember any episode where she collapsed. Does anyone else?
Thanks!

I think someone has some false information.
I have over 260 episodes of Ozzie & Harriet on tape ranging all 14 years and not one of them has Harriet fainting.

Seems there's a lot of bad information about this show. I checked its entry on "Jump the Shark" and there are a few erroneous statements thrown out, including how Ozzie always had the answers to whatever was troubling Rick and Dave. He may have had answers, but they were usually the wrong answers, bringing about the fun.

I never saw a show where Harriet fainted. She was always portrayed as pretty strong. She directed some episodes too...at least that's what some of the VHS tapes say. So far, I haven't seen anything about her directing on the credits. Anyone know for sure? Dave directed, I know.
