Honing in on Adam J. Harrington’s first on-air appearance in the role Sabato Jr, said, “So now, they started a new character by the name of John. They don’t even call him ‘Jagger’. They call him ‘John’ because they know that the character’s only been played by me ’cause it’s part of who I am. It’s my life. It’s a character that is really a big part of, of my soul that I dedicated my life. And that’s what it turned out to be. I gave everything I have to that character and I would still do. So, the truth and the fact of the matter is people say, well, ‘you ruin your career because you voted for this or political or this and that.’ I shouldn’t be hired on my political views. I should be hired on my merit, on my acting abilities because you know, that works.”

I remember when the character Jagger came out on General Hospital and even though my mother and I didn't watch General Hospital Mom and kept seeing Jagger posters in the soap opera magazines we'd buy and I understood why Jagger was such a neat character on General Hospital and it was because Antonio Sabato Jr. was a top crush of girls and I couldn't figure out why Jagger was so cute to girls? But my mom kept wanting to hang Jagger posters in my room because Antonio Sabato Jr. was my crush which in truth I thought he was simply nice but alright as a crush for me. But why Antonio Sabato Jr. doesn't use the name Jagger for his General Hospital character who now went by John was odd to me. I guess Antonio thought it would be a great comeback for him on General Hospital. Why was the character named Jagger anyway? Did they think Jagger was a cool name for a cool guy?
