I keep reading Cable Networks are and about to shut down. Although they don’t change anything to help there cause. Except pass more fees to the consumers.
For years cable has been targeting 18-49 years old. Do you think they should try to target schoolage or Baby Boomers & Generation X or stick with ages 18-49? Why do you think cable does not want to help themselves out?

I got rid of cable ten years ago and never looked back and I have no clue what they are doing.

I think there are many leaders in the industry who are in denial that anything has changed within the last 20 years.

They lost me when they all became the same with all that reality crap. Each channel used to be geared toward something. They're all the same anymore.

What is the lowest-rated TV channel? I take a look at the latest viewership numbers through the Nielsen ratings averages for a variety of broadcast and cable networks across 2023. What channels have seen surprising increases in their audience? Which channels are continuing their slow declines? And what can we look out for in 2024 and beyond? Plus, as always, I’ll answer the big, always revealing question, uncovering which channel is this year’s least viewed television network — all while offering details and analysis on the performance of over 30 popular television brands.

Each channel being geared towards a specific subject or theme is what I miss the most. I blame it on greed and laziness.
