What are your feelings? I hate dressing in costume, the idea of driving home from work at night with all the kids running around and giving out candy. but I love, watching scary movies, Shows with a halloween theme. I wear halloween themed clothes, like a Halloween sweatshirt.

I love it! I don't enojy trick or treating MUCH anymore but I still love parties and candy. hehe.

Love it. Everytime a holiday comes up, I get hyped up about it. (except for the summer ones). I hate the color orange, but in October, I love it! Well, FALL is my fav. season anyways. My fav. is still Christmas and Thanksgiving though. And St.Patricks Day. And Halloween. Im a bit old to go trick or treating, but hopefully I could take my nephew as an excuse lol. Everytime a holiday approaches, I fall in love with the colors of it.

I LOVE Halloween! I've had a party at my house the past few years and we have a BLAST! This year we are also going to do karaoke.

Off topic for a sec here. I have an old karaoke machine and we pulled it out the other day b/c we were bored and we started singing. We were in the middle of singing "Summer Night's" from Grease when my friend's mom walked in on us. :lol: We were SO embarrased. Ya know, it's one thing to act like in idiot infront of friends, but it's another when when a parent is there. :lol:

Anyway, Yes I love Halloween and Yes I'll be having a costume party again this year.

it means absolutely nothing to me. i dont trick or treat (Havent since sixth grade) so if it werent for all the Halloween stuff at stores and etc I wouldn't even know if the day passed me by.

Halloween means pumpkins, falling leaves and a Michael Myers marathon!

My dad hated Haloween so I didn't start trick or treating til about 3rd grade. Ususally in Chicago, you stop when you finish 8th grade. Haloween isn't all that great, but I LOVE November 1st, El dia de los muertos. We always do something great in Spanish class.

I have mixed feelings about Halloween. I used to love going out guising when I was wee (BTW - guising is the Scots word for trick-or-treating, it derives from the word 'disguise'). Now though, now that I'm older, I think Halloween has lost a lot of it's charm. There's too many teenagers - people who are too old to be out guising - trying to get free candy and stuff. It spoils the whole experience for me. Halloween is for kids, not for adolencents who have nothing better to do than terrorise old ladies and go out ghostie-bashing!

That said though, I did have cool Halloween last year. My parents were out so I had the house to myself. I turned all the lights out and lit my lava lamps and candles and watched Buffy and Halloween Simpson episodes. I really got that Halloween 'vibe' going. You know how Xmas has a vibe? Halloween has a defintate vibe to it and I really captured that last year. I was well-chuffed! :D

i love halloween! as its been said "you knock on the door and they give you candy! it doesnt work any other day of the year!" i used to LOVE trick or treating....now i love the parties and candy and dressing up.

I haven't trick-or-treated in like 4 years but I like giving out the candy to the kids and making up we ran out of candy while I'm holding a HUGE bowl of candy. hehe :lol:

I love Halloween. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I don't trick or treat anymore but I love carving pumpkins and decorating and everything else that goes with preparing for Halloween.

I really like Halloween! I think because it is in the Fall . And I like to hand out candy to the kids! The little ones especially! When the big kids come around in the later hours I always give them all the candy that I have left! They are always very grateful for that! :lol:


I just think it is a fun night!:)

omg...halloween is just weird....I hate the devil satanist thing about it....But its like ugh, I dont go trick or treating, The partys are cool to dress up but its like on halloween people always act weird....just my opinion...

I love it because it gives me the opportunity to scare the piss out of the children. :D


Every year, I leave my door open and the screen door closed. You can't see through it. I play the theme from "Halloween" through my stereo. Right before a kid rings my doorbell, I jump from next to the screen door and scream bloody murder. :lol: Last year I made a five year old cry.

That teaches them the true meaning of Halloween. :D

I love Halloween, too! Always have. When one of my brothers and I were about 12 years old, we set up a "haunted house" in our garage. A few years ago, I decided to set up a smaller one (still in the garage) so the trick-or-treaters have something to look at. It's also more fun than just handing out candy. I have my little show for about two hours, then I go to a very good haunted house over in Studio City (Calif.). This is the best Halloween set-up I've seen yet and the show's host even has a informative website about his show...

I used to like halloween but not nomore....I went out i think last year with a few friend's of mine..But that's gonna be my last year I dont like dressing up! I like watching the Halloween show's exc..They have pretty good one's!

I can't understand for the life of me why anyone would hate it.

When else do you get to dress up like an idiot, run wild in the streets like an idiot, scare littler kids, pull pranks, watch freaky-a movies, and get FREEEEEEEE candy!?!?!

And most of what I said there is legal, so... yeah.

Any holiday with free candy is a plus in my book. :lol:

LOVE IT! me and my friends, my brother and my boyfriend, we go and scare kids, we have for 2 yrs, we get horrifying costumes.

I love Halloween!!! I don't trick-or-treat anymore, but I love the costumes and the parties. It's great wasting my money on assembling a costume that I'll only wear once.

How can anyone hate Halloween? I love it to death! It's my favorite holiday -- the one day where you can act however you want and no one can make fun of you for it! Plus, the leaves all turn red and orange and there's that autumn aroma sweeping through the air!

I put mixed feelings because I had out candy every year and usually have a friend over and watch scary movies. But I gave up trick or Treating years ago. I like it because I can always scre my friends to death almost to where they pee in the pants.
