Let's have a look at lovely Kelly Ripa, displaying her beautiful blonde hair
on Hope & Faith. We'll start with Season 2: Kelly's hair approaches
bra-strap length, styled straight and so sleek. Very hot!

Going back a little to the pilot episode and Season 1. The look of
hottie Kelly is really beautiful at the time, as expected.

Look at the length of her hair in these first 2 images, love it:

I used to work on TV shows.

What she looks like when she walks in the door is different than what she looks like on the TV. You are idealizing her. She likely had extensions. Let people be people. She looked like you are me walking through that door in the morning and they had a crew who fixed her up.

She likely had extensions.

Ironically, before starting this thread I'd been searching for photos of Kelly Ripa with short hairstyles in much more recent years, to post in the Other or Talk Show forum. But I was drawn to her Hope & Faith looks, idealized or otherwise. Here are a couple of the best short looks, but I doubt I'll bother now:

So while I post overwhelmingly emphasizing women's long hair, not always. For example, I did a thread on Christina Applegate's shorter looks on Married with Children.

People commonly rail about women in entertainment using hair extensions, but somehow I doubt many would say Ted Danson was being idealized when being drooled over despite having to cover a bald spot with a hairpiece. Peace / piece.
