Alfonso Ribeiro played a character in each of these shows. He played Alfonso Spears in Silver Spoons and Carlton Banks in Fresh Prince.

Hard for me to miss anything where this show is concerned. I wrote the official book on the series. If you want a few more difficult questions let me know and I'll send you some.

There was no tricking me, either. I knew the moment I saw the title of the thread what the answer was. ;) But, it's good to ask some trivia questions. I've got one that I'm sure everyone knows the answer to. What does Silver Spoons and Family Ties have in common? :p

You're right. I know this trivia question was also too easy. Does anyone know any other trivia questions that could possibly stump anyone for a change? :) :talk:  :happyface

I'm not too sure, but I think it's that Alfonso Ribeiro was in a Michael Jackson pepsi commercial and Michael Jacksons' sister Janet Jackson was in Good Times as the character Penny.

The answer is that Gary Coleman made a guest appearance on Silver Spoons in 1982 and a guest appearance on Good Times in 1978

8 year old question, lol, but I can't resist...

Gary Coleman guest-starred as Arnold Jackson on both Silver Spoons and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air...so they share a character in common although he is technically a Diff'rent Strokes character...
