The Frasier reboot production designer Glenda Rovello defends Frasier Crane's controversial Boston apartment, comparing it to his Seattle flat.

I am not loving that horrible wallpaper near the stairs, it is absolutely horrid. I also think what sitcoms don't do when they are in an apartment setting is open the windows. It would seem more realistic of from time to tome the windows were open like in real life, and you can see a little breeze blow the certain, as opposed to having it look like just a "sitcom" set. Just my .02
Of course if it is freezing, or stiffling hot we know he would have either heat or A/C on....
